It's not going well that G7 for trump is it. Who knew it could be so hard?
Au contraire, I think Trump, his lickspittle Trumpettes, and his boss Putin think it went splendidly.Mannafort and cohen in deep trouble, bith know trumps secrets having worked with him for years... family trump being threatened by trump investigation. A real risk all are going to jail.

They've got a world to run. I reckon the two of them could achieve great things together.

I wonder who would win in a car park fight between Trump and Merkel.
They both have weight advantages on their sides and nothing to lose in the looks department. But then Trump would be worried about that hairpiece, his orange tan smudging and of course Merkel's got bigger hands.Eric Mc said:

Yup. Also worth pointing out Rome was not built in a day. It was entirely unrealistic to expect Trump to come away with any concessions on trade at the meeting.
If you want a Rome analogy, I would suggest you read up on Emperor Nero.Trump has launched a verbal attack on the other G7 members following the ending of the summit - including another direct attack on Canada.
He has refused to endorse the joint communiqué issued by the G7.
I think it is obvious now, if it wasn't obvious already, that Trump wants to seek support from America's enemies and is willing to destroy the long established relationships with America's allies.

Signed the joint statement, then as he left was obviously told by an aide (Bolton?)that wasn't what he wanted, so tweeted a denial and insulted the Canadian prime minister. He's ranting because he didn't get what he's wanted, nobody wanted to do what he demanded, he lost and didn't like losing, didn't like his weakness being exposed. BUT HE SIGNED THE JOINT STATEMENT!He has refused to endorse the joint communiqué issued by the G7.

He claims he's a great deal maker, the best deals.
This doesn't bodes well for the talks with Kim...

I wouldn't be surprised if he comes out of the Kim talk praising Kim and saying what a great country North Korea is.
And then there will be announcement that Pyong Yang will be getting a Trump Tower and that Ivanka's fashion lines will be manufactured in North Korea.
There's reports he's going to suggest opening an embassy there. And then there will be announcement that Pyong Yang will be getting a Trump Tower and that Ivanka's fashion lines will be manufactured in North Korea.
At theG7 he came under scrutiny from his allies, who pointed out his failings and faults with his arguments, so he's decided to instead concentrate on Russia and North Korea.
Unable to hold his own with his peers, he seeks those who are willing to stroke his ego even if they are adversaries. The trouble is, those are the people playing him.
Trumps wounded, vulnerable and is off to an important meeting he hasn't prepared for
There's no strength or leadership in someone who reads only to those that praise him.
It's all about the ratings...

Interesting to see that Banks as financier of Brexit had several meetings with Russians.
We know the same bot farms used brexit as a test for the us election.
Putin has been very busy, very clever, in destabilising his opponents.
