I couldn't resist these from Tiny Rebel recently, though they'll be going into the ageing cupboard until bonfire season is properly here...

Apparently released to celebrate the end of lockdown in Wales...who could say no to an 18% ABV marshmallow porter?

It took my Mrs weeks to find Tuesday biggrin
Tuesday (Wheat beer) was out of stock when I bought a couple of cases of An Union earlier this year, haven't tried to re-order yet; although I'm interested in trying that one.

Just seen it - 5 quid a tin.

Saw a 'new one' by Vocation - Roll With It.

Thought it sounded familiar but went ahead and got it. Tasted familiar too - even says 'Special Edition' on it.

Looks like they've just changed their can designs the shysters.............. wouldn't have bought it knowing I've had it before !!

Morrison’s have two four pack of Vocation Life & Death and Divide & Conquer for £10 at the moment. 8 cans for £10, not bad, tonight’s refreshments sorted. Small cans though so you need to double up.

£4.50 a pack at Tesco wink got a pack yesterday, I do like Life and Death. Unsure of the new graphics, but I get their reasons.

I don't think it is possible to brew to 18% so presumably they have fortified it somehow?

I've just bought a can of one of their IPAs with the earliest design, marked as reduced to clear in Tesco. I wonder if it was reduced because of the redesign, Tesco dropping Vocation, or because it's bloody ancient? Guess it's first down the hatch in a few hours.

I hope so cos it was bloody expensive. The BrewDog is a current favourite although not their biggest fan.

Question.

Is this thread really about "craft" beer any more?

Or is it just about supermarket IPA?

I was going to post up about the sensational Omnipollo Hard Seltzer that I had last night and my Verdant/PressureDrop haul, but after seeing that most people are discussing mass-market stuff I suspected it would fall on deaf ears.

Well a hard seltzer isn't a craft beer.

Maybe start another thread, the REAL REAL craft beer and fancy alcoholic water thread?

"Craft" beer thread and you want to post about a hard seltzer?

What a snobby patronising post.

That seltzer really isn’t good and Verdant are only a step away from being mass-market and on the shelves of Tesco et al. Does this belong here?
