Alignment is all done and within spec - but he wants to get it back in a few weeks once the springs have settled to do it again.
New abs/pad sensor cable clips fitted too.
O2 sensors, exhaust gasket rings and headlight alignment still to do apparently.
Still should be OK for collection this weekend, but I still suspect something will go wrong

This is a screenshot of the alignment, but he's got a detailed report which he'll send me (or I get with the car). I've no idea what the numbers mean, but he said they're red if they're out of tolerance.

When I pick it up I'll get it booked in for 2-3 week's time to get it redone.

I'm sure all the cost and time without will be worth it in the end Ross. I went through a similar episode over the summer with my old Alpina B10, same sort of work including all bushings, control arms, some brake lines etc. Subframe bushes were also done but rear subframe is alloy on an e39 so that saved some faff there, to help balance that, and add the required extra cost/hassle/time frame I decided to change the exhaust manifolds, you know, just to wind myself up. 2 1/2 months later all done and very much worth the wait.

Mechanic took it for a road test and all good. They said they'll let me know when MOT is done (won't stop me checking the DVLA site ) and once done I'll tax it. No point doing it beforehand, just in case.
Once collected I'll look to get it booked back in to get the alignment checked again in a few weeks, depending on what they suggest.
