Without the stripes, and the nasty CF winglet things that make it look like the wrong bumper, and in a better colour, and with about £20k spent on rebuilding the underside, I think I'd quite like that.

I don't think that windscreen is going to go down well at the MOT.

Oh yeah, and wtaf. It's like someone just stabbed a pin into a book of car names a few times and thought "yeah, why not"
Not a requirement to have a windscreen for a MoT

Mate of mine came across this yesterday, the owner had popped into the shop to buy a can of Monster.

I love when someone doesn’t know how those flares are supposed to work and does that. It looks so silly laugh

I like that M5 though. I’d definitely go have a look and see if it was rescuable.

Not modest at all, that’s definitely the first I’ve seen on this thread with a pizza oven built into the front spoiler.

Not necessarily true. MOT exemption is only for cars registered as historic vehicles, to be eligible for which it must not be substantially modified from original. There is a long list of qualifying criteria which this vehicle might struggle to meet.

Forbye that the requirement to maintain the vehicle in roadworthy condition remains, whether an MoT is required or not.

Eligibility for historic vehicle status is on a points-based system on originality of components. So many points for chassis/shell, engine/transmission, suspension, steering gear etc. For example though, it may pass with a new shell e.g. Heritage, provided it is to original specifications.
Rather more lenient with suspension and brakes as improvements there are seen as safety upgrades.

Yes, and the vendor claims it's MOT and tax exempt because it's registered as a 1961 Austin Mini saloon. Yet it has a GRP shell and a Zetec engine. It really needs an IVA as well as an MOT to be fully legal.

To me that just looks like another Jaguar SUV - what’s the modification?
