Wow! Any film which was worse than "Gravity" , I just don't want to see. (Gravity was) Definitely the worst film I've seen in the last couple of years.
This is the Gravity that won 7 oscars, 223 other awards and scores 7.7 on imdb?

It had (large) faults, but you must have seen very few films to think it the worst!
It was the only film recently that I didn't finish watching. Pretty boring as far as I was concerned. I'm not impressed by special effects so maybe that's why I didn't enjoy it. Each to his own I suppose, it would be a pretty boring world if we all liked the same things.
Gravity was actually a pretty good film, a Wrinkle in Time however...

Out of all the films I’ve watched in the last year, the Lighthouse and Midsommar were the only two that really left a lasting impression. Originals will always be better perhaps, and these two are definitely hard going to watch.

Jarring.
Two of the best (new) films I've seen in a while, both brilliant IMO.

Ari Aster and Robert Eggers both coming out with the bangers

hehe no, vs the preceeding three it wasn't on par; but it was a good distraction after a truly ste week.

Having thoroughly enjoyed the book a little while back I finally got around to watching The Hundred Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out of the Window and Disappeared and it's a most delightful romp.... just like the book, if you think it's going to get a little boring you jus have to wait a minute longer for the next fantastical move in either the story or the flashback.

Found it on Amazon Prime, but I expect it's available everywhere, subtitled into English, but not the worse for having to pay attention!

Just paid an extortionate £15.99 to rent The Hunt. Was worth it though, great fun!

It is when I consider that ticket prices for our local cinema are £2.50 in weekdays and £3.50 at weekends..

Joker

Wow.

I'm pretty simple and usually just enjoy a good yarn and rarely have any thoughts on whether the acting was any good or not but even I recognised that Joaquin Phoenix was pretty awesome there.

Fury - Brad Pitts WW2 tank film, 8/10

Terminator: Dark Fate - another instalment of the Terminator franchise. Still not a patch and the first 2, can't say it was much of an improvement on any of the other recent ones either. 6/10

Midsommar - Mental, not quite sure what score would give it though due to the fact it was mental.

Green room - Punk band trying to escape neo Nazi group trying to kill them after witnessesing a murder. Enjoyable 8/10

The Renevent - brilliant as always, beautifully shot 9/10

“About time”. Typical Richard Curtis romcom, but given that it has Lindsay Duncan, Bill Nighy and Tom Hollander - it is all good.

Oh and early Margot Robbie and Rachel McAdams if that helps....

If you have seen any other RC film, you will know the style.

Watched 21 Bridges last night.

Super-cop Black Panther Chadwick BoseMan chases down two cop killers in New York.

Fairly straightforward story and you can see exactly where the story will end but it looked good and was an entertaining enough way to kill 2 hours

The Hunt. Quite good in a black comedy sort of a way.
