Hi there,

Saw a red Countach this afternoon on the A50 heading from Holmes Chapel towards Knutsford around 3:30pm.

Plate was 999 MNN, a bit of googling bought up this image.

Regards

Tim

Subaru SVX? They count on this thread, right?

No pictures, I'm afraid. I was heading from Guildford to Ash via Normandy this evening, on my bike in full PH Lycra when the SVX in question passed me. I thought it was blue, but I'm colourblind and DVLA have it down as green, but whichever colour it was painted it's VRN was 'H11 ARC'.

Sadly, by the time I'd realised what I was looking at I didn't have time to grab a photo and there wasn't a big enough queue at the upcoming roundabout for me to catch up to it. Very lovely, I've not seen one "in the wild" before, only at car shows.

Lovely thumbup

I also glimpsed an orange McLaren a couple of times. Once near Brook, and again on the A31 going into Guildford, but both times I was heading uphill toward a 'T' junction, so again no photos.

Same for the Hartge BMW 3 Series convertible I very nearly pulled out onto a roundabout in front of. He was joining the southbound A3 near Milford and had a GoPro mounted on the bonnet. Blue E30 model I think it was.

Parked at the bottom of Guildford Hight Street was something I did get a photo of. I'll post it up "to follow", but it was 6.2 litres of yellow Chevrolet Camaro SS loveliness.

Edit to add the photo of that SS...

nono

Those are definitely portrait. Uploading them didn't make them portrait. Honest.

This visited work today, highest ever specced aventador roadster. Its wrapped and customised for the mod ball rally and is going back to standard afterwards. Its rosso mars underneath. Mega sounding car once it had left - nothing like a v12 being wound out!!!

Ha ha, yes, it is the right way around on my laptop! It's too late in the day for me to be fussed trying to work it out :-)

There are a couple of yellow F40s in the UK now apart from Rods old one, the F40 in the photo looks to have an LM rear wing fitted since that vid was taken.

O/T but it's actually Windows buggering it up rather than the iPhone. Kind of doesn't matter I suppose!

Take the pictures landscape.

You're beginning to sound like a broken record, Dicky.

I know. I'll stop. Sake.
