Oh yes. I've always had a soft-spot for the outlandish creations of the 80s and 90s, but this is a nice balance of maturity with hints of OTT.

Well now you've gone and done it! Absolutely no work will be done today as I peruse that site.

And I really want an Arden Jag........

just came across this lovely example in a for sale ad.

a Jaguar Royale , using a 3. 6 litre XJS as a basis, on a custom made chassis.

That just looks really odd! Doesn’t work for me at all.

Agreed. The tiny spoked wheels look daft on it too.

I think it looks weird because the back looks like a Mk5 and the front looks like an XK. Cut and shut.

It’s just proportionally wrong in every angle.

just came across this one, I thought huh, a VW golf mk1 cabrio, with such roundish dash? looks like from a audi tt, so opened it and indeed, a conversion.

1987 mk1 golf convertible with a 1.8t 4WD Quattro conversion 285hp

looks nice me thinks, its also now a 2-seater

I think it looks great, but £25k? I'm interested to see whether it goes for that.

not normally a fan of the Golf Cabrio - that does look rather nice though, punchy price I suspect but still a lot cheaper than getting one done. Nankang tyres?

Like the conversion and the execution looks good, but the arches are a bit clumsy and the rims are awful

indeed, those rims are over the top, would have been better with some simple steelies, like this example and then maybe another simple color, I guess something like that would have looked better.

I agree that the arches look a bit clumsy to me, I disagree that the rims are awful, however. They wouldn't be my choice, but I think "awful" is a bit harsh.
