Haven’t got pics, but as an attempt to offer new suggestions and bring things slightly closer to the 21st century…

Primal Scream - Screamadelica
REM - Automatic for the People or Out of Time
My Bloody Valentine - Loveless
Pulp - Different Class
Blur - Parklife
Beastie Boys - Licence to Ill
TLC - Crazy Sexy Cool
Muse - Absolution
The Strokes - Is This It?
Green Day - American Idiot
SOAD - Toxicity
Arctic Monkeys - Whatever People Say… or A.M.
Massive Attack - Blue Lines
Blink 182 - Enema of the State
Pearl Jam - Ten or Vs.
At a pub quiz, I reckon I'd get Parklife and possibly Screamadelica.

Not a chance on the others.
Yep, agreed (although I would spot Ten and Vs only because I'm a massive Pearl Jam fan).

Anyway, I added these two earlier to the quiz set:-

I want to include a Pink Floyd one, but reckon DSOM would be too easy. So I'm thinking Wish You Were Here

This album cover was also featured in an episode of Family Guy.

OK, I think these are all iconic album covers of the last 30 or so years so just in case there might be people under the age of about 70 biggrin here are the pics, in list order…

Lovely selection.

Royal Scam is the album for me - an absolute favourite and my Desert Island disc... way above Aja. Love it.

I would have said Transformer was fairly iconic. I've even done the work for you.

These should all be recognisable by a diverse group, which might not be the case with some of the deep cut UK metal suggestions.

Interesting. I've sold loads of my vinyl over the years - was buying since the mid 60s - but kept what I like(d). Just been going through some of it.

Yeah, that's 2 of Fleetwood Mac's Rumours album but they're different. Even the covers, one is in a plane jane card cover, the other is mottled card (differences matter to values).

I'll add some more if I get time, but for now ones not mentioned that I can see. Amazed this isn't mentioned. This would be banned today.

One of my faves would be this, brilliant gatefold cover.

For a old rarer (I doubt many on here will have ever heard of them) and 'strange' cover.

This should never be missed out of 'iconic' album covers, Hipgnosis art again although little art was involved as it was actually a 'photo' of the 'warrior' (later said to have been the influence for Darth Vader) taken and shot in mountains in France - just the 'flying saucer' on the back cover was added 'art'. For some odd reason the saucer disappeared on some later album covers.

Bet not many can guess what album this is from?
I was into art at the point of its release in 1970 and I would have had this on the front cover not the back, as it sums up the album title in one pic! In fact the actual front cov is poor imo.

Again, iconic, but no one's mentioned it. Inside cover depicted, not hard.

Simple, but clever.

To finish (for now), got to go.

Scorpions - Love Drive a (relatively) famous/controversial cover
That immediately sprung to mind...

And a few more I have looked at and looked at and looked at whilst the black circles were spinning

Not an album but probably the most famous single cover (OK, 12" but still...)
