I remember that one from the mid-eighties, but what did it actually mean?

Was it an obscure AIDS reference? I missed the point then, and I've still not got a clue what it meant...

We used that at our primary school. Until today, I have never met or spoken to anyone else that has head of A.B.D. Thanks.

Mind, our school was it was fairly well advanced in terms of insults, I remember using the word chav (in current meaning) in 1987. It's definitely not a recent invention.

The phrase "hairy bazooka" didn't seem to catch on, despite being very funny indeed.

Div-kid is another good'un.

Even though it seems common in films, it's been years since I actually heard somebody say either motherfker or cocksucker, they need resurrecting. I'm also trying to use douchebag as much as possible.

Old Norse:

"Thú ert brúr Svínfellsáss, em sagt er, hverja ir níunda nótt ok geri hann thik at konu!"

You are the bride of the Svïnafell troll, as people say, and every ninth night he treats you like a woman.

Or "dozy bint". Though that's not especially antiquated, I use it all the time!

A few trips down memory lane on this thread. biggrin Wally, dipstick, twerp, prat. All words that should be dusted down and revived IMO!
