Anyone seen the Immortals?

I really wanted to see it at the cinema (big 300 fan) but was denied by projector failure then an accident preventing all access into the piccies!
Watched it last night - agree with imdb, 6 / 10. Pretty bad acting and storyline rescued by cool fight scenes and effects.

Ghost rider : the spirit of vengeance - I didn't expect much after seeing the first one, but it managed to be even worse than I thought it could be

Rented Battleship yesterday...... Sorry thought this was the rubbish films thread.

What a mess. I'd love to know who read that script and gave it the green light. Much of what could laughably be called the plot made literally no sense at all.

Anyway wrong thread.

Then I rewatched black rain recorded from film 4. A bit dated now but I still love the film. Well worth another watch.

Awful film. Was expecting something similar to 300 but it was simply terrible in every way possible bar one well choreographed fight near the beginning. The rest of it was utter complete wk.

V/H/S - some bits were st-me-pants scary and some quite average.

The first scene in the motel room is really well done.

Paranormal activity crossed with Blair Witch type footage with numerous stories of horror.

Enjoyable. 7/10
!

Where did you get hold of that? I've been dying to see it for months.

Naaa, I expected it to be a bit sh!t but was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. It's not great but certainly not bad either, well worth a watch. Each to their own though.

Agreed. Never going to win any Oscars but nowhere near as bad as it could have been.

Certainly a damn site more enjoyable than the 'Conan' reboot...

Watched The Thing (prequel) and thought it a great watch, similar to the original but with up to date effects. Not sure what all the bashing was about on the forums.

'The Hunger Games' - Very, very impressed with this film...

As a MAHOOOOSIVE fan of Battle Royale I was expecting it to be a crappy Hollywood rehash of it. I was pleasantly surprised. It was a lot darker than I thought it would be, and whilst it wasn't gruesome, or graphic that much, it was pretty terrifying, if only in the concept of the whole thing. The only part I thought was a bit naff was the holographic beasty things, which ruined it a bit I felt

9/10 I reckon.

Just watched, The Guard.

Quite surreal and bit of twisted humor.
