The ending of Sons was so st. A bit of an insult to people that had invested so much time in the show.
I think thats part of why I couldn't invest in Mayans. That and the idea you could just tunnel your way under a Mexican border.Lazermilk said:
I haven't seen Mayans, but the tunneling under the border is a real thing the cartels do, they use carts on rails like in the old mines to transport the drugs etc.
Yep, and I appreciated that. But this is the basement of a house, down some steps, through to a house on the other side.Though lets be honest the show was a bit sensational all round so I fully appreciate I'm nitpicking.

How about from a KFC to a house, wholly unbelievable?Though lets be honest the show was a bit sensational all round so I fully appreciate I'm nitpicking.

Post apocalyptic zombie series where the kids survive and adults get infected.
Like the early episodes of S03 of Strange Tales it crassly references other movies. Done with sympathy and a light witty touch this can be very effective (see Sex Education). In this however they actually have Ferris Bueller playing Ed Rooney, the lead character Josh Wheeler has a Wheeler, Wheeler, Wheeler roll call, drives a Ferrari California, does the dreebs, motorheads, and the my sister's boyfriend's brother's etc
Add to that mad max, walking dead, ash vs evil dead etc etc. you get the picture. It's awful. 2/10
That said, the kids enjoy it. Enough blood and grossness to make it funny however there's too much unnecessary f'ing. They say 6/10.
It's no Sabrina though which sits at (a kids score of) 9/10 and is highly recommended particularly at this time of year.

Started Mindhunter last night. Episode 1 a bit slow. Assuming its a scene setter and it picks up?
I'm at the exact same position, only watched that first episode and it was very slow but keep hearing so many good things about it.SaggyOstrich said:
