This is not in the 'gem' catagory, but S2 of the Mexican telenovella La Reina del Sur has me hooked, even though it's terrible. 60 episodes and I'm only up to 18.
Some decent swearing in Spanish though
I got hooked on the Pablo Escobar one called El Patron del Mal (or something similar) it was so sSome decent swearing in Spanish though

I’m firmly in the Meh category.
Murphy was back to doing what he does well. The rest of it was just ok.
I'm the same, watched last night. Murphy great as always, I lost interest half way through but carried on to the end, 6 / 10I’m firmly in the Meh category.

Not sure if this has been mentioned on here before but has anyone been watching Sacred Games?
Crime drama/thriller series set in India where a cop finds out he has links to a gang leader, who is now sending him cryptic warning's about having 25 days to save Mumbai.
Quite unlike anything i have seen before, can be rather confusing as the series is set across different dates but once you get into it this becomes compelling viewing as the story unravel's. Refreshing to see something like this set in India, looking forward to seeing more from the same cast & crew
I watched the first season but I had to leave watching the second season till I had some holidays as I found it too confusing to watch and keep track of what was going on if I only watched an episode a day. It's very good!Crime drama/thriller series set in India where a cop finds out he has links to a gang leader, who is now sending him cryptic warning's about having 25 days to save Mumbai.

Journey's End - WW1 drama set in the trenches of the Western front. Thought it was very well made, the characters seem resigned to their fate without being overly melodramatic, and it avoids the usual clichéd characters or going for the traditional ending where they all go over the top.

Did you read the book? We had to read it at school (I think it was fairly common school issue reading) - Very close to the book.I really enjoyed it too. (maybe 'appreciated' is a better choice of word).

Living with yourself?
“A man undergoes an experimental treatment to improve his life, only to be replaced by a new and improved version of himself, and must fight for his wife, his career, and his very identity.”
About four episodes in and enjoying it.
Yes, recently finished the first Season and really enjoyed it, an original concept with a good cast. It does make you think "what would I do in his situation?"Living with yourself?

I"m perservering through The Good Place. Current season isn't as good as previous 2. Shame as the format was really refreshing.
Wonder if it's getting renewed.
I think this is the final one Wonder if it's getting renewed.
