Edited to add: I think that given the size and price of the property there should be a bespoke home cinema room, not a shared gym/cinema!
Sorry to disagree but I see a concept II rowing machine. I can assure you that sitting/rowing on this thing is very boring; I would love to have a big screen in front of me when using this torture device.

According to the internet it’s in Toronto (and was $81m) half of which must have been spent on marble.

Yup cracking that - and no doubt avoids the thermal deficiencies, and falling-apart-character, that something like this normally comes as standard

Why is he dressed like that inside his own house unless he's scared he might catch CV19 off it, almost as if it's not his own house and he's just borrowed it for the shoot.

Yuck - the absence of a cinema room is a signifier of the owner's good taste biggrin

I'm not offended by it and I'm sure the quality is there. But it's the housing equivalent of the Rover RV8 or 'new' VW Beetle for me and a missed opportunity.

Lovely place

plenty of unused attic space to have a much bigger gym and dedicated cinema room

Agree. Inoffensive enough, but a conservative and predictable pastiche when there was an opportunity for some decent modern architecture.

You should see the road this house is on. Modern architecture would stick out like a sore thumb.

I’ve had a look at Streetview. Whilst most if not all the houses are of a traditional design, the density is low with plenty of space around and between them. So there’s no reason IMO why a good modern design would be inappropriate, than slavishly replicating what’s there already.

They're all behind big-ass hedges/screening planting, too.
