Not sure there's anything shexxier than fresh slicks mounted up..
First time using the new Rabaconda tyre changer and all in all, pretty bloody impressive...
No swearing, no skinned knuckles, no dinged rims...

Which version or kit did you get Steve? I'm so sh!t at changing tyres and would like to get better at it.

Did you get a balancer too?

Went to the annual British Car Day locally, mine was one of the few bikes on display. It was a great day, hot too!

Bob, I got the Starter Kit which includes the tyre lube and some extra bits. I needed to add the Ducati 56mm adapter which was cheap enough ($35 CAD).
I couldn't see the value in the Ultimate Kit as I don't have side stitch spokes like the GS or need a BMW rear adapter but if you're going this far, I guess it could make sense to cover off all future possibilities. You could also charge $25 a tyre to friends and everyone wins.
I won't lie, I was a bit huffed about the price but after the initial 3 tyres in 15 mins it made itself a great piece of kit. Although it is rated as the road tyre changer, I'm not sure why I couldn't give it a go with my offroad tyres too. I guess I'll find out sooner or later hehe

I already had a balancer with Ducati adapters so this is the natural next step without needing to commit the cost and space to a commercial grade machine.

That scrambobbler looks hideous. How much did he want for it?

Beautiful.. I really love the leather strap on the tank...
I suspect a bike like this could ride like a cart horse and you'd still forgive it for its looks alone....

Proper isn't it? MV definitely have a compelling styling team at the moment, just lovely.

Spent the day sorting out the 500 forks. Trying a slightly heavier oil to get a bit more rebound damping and wound up the compression a bit on the PD valves. Really good for making damper rod forks better.

Albeit it started to run like a bag of ste on the way home from a 100 mile evening run. Seems like it's missing/surging on the idle circuit.
