Younger women are just hotter, it's an undeniable fact that all single women in their 40s try and deny, or try and shame men for dating younger.
I agree 100 percent but they are not all hot.

However, as you have stated before, even the 4 out of 10's think they are models so they even want the 8 plus out of 10 guys.

Nature has dictated that women's beauty peaks and then declines, as after menopause and raising their own kids, women are designed to focus on helping raise the grand-kids. And nature had dictated that men give a lot of weighting to a woman's attractiveness.

Many men don't settle down with their dream girl, they decide they want to settle down and then end up with who is around at that time. If you married 'the one' then you will still look at her the same and it's irrelevant, but if a man didn't marry the one and has 'settled' then during any tough times he is more likely to factor in her decline in attractiveness and think he can do better and walk out.

If settling, settle for 5-10 years younger and during any arguments you will still have the hots for her!

Again, i can't disagree with that either.

It is what it is and as i stated I could date a much younger women, hot too but then you still have to weed out the nutty ones.

Young , super hot, bubbly personality, fit in body and mind and just a cracking good egg, " Ideal right " smile

They have spent the last 20+ years rejecting anyone who isn't a top 5% man looks, wealth, height, status etc. wise and I doubt they are going to suddenly lower their standards because the rent got expensive.
Surely a top 5% man in those 4 areas becomes a very rare thing indeed, unless you subscribe to the idea that one leads all of the others?

they all want kids and 'more' from the relationship after their eggs start to feel more finite and their looks crest the hill. Leonoardo di Caprio has the right idea dating only 22 year olds but I guess the likes of us might find that harder to achieve.
Thankfully this just isn't true. I know it's fairly common, but there are women who don't want kids - my missus is 10 years younger (which means 39) and has absolutely zero interest in having kids; neither of us can bear the sound of screaming children and we simply don't understand why folks would 'ruin' their lives by having them - but that's just our perspective. Do agree on dating younger though, for obvious reasons.

As a newly single female online dating is hilarious and crazy in equal measure so far banghead

It's enlightening reading about it from a male point of view though. One thing that drives me mad and makes me reject a lot of guys is using their kids in their profile pictures, do women do that too? I think its so bizzare

Occasionally they do, usually just 1 of the 6 and not the first one (Hinge). But my god why do women take selfies in the bog, often public ones.

Many put filters on so extreme they look like waxworks. Igot a like the othr day from a lady who had 3 of the 6 pictures as landscapes, which she wasn't in!! The only close up of her face she had a mask on FFS.

Overall the volume of selfies is >50% which i find odd, I don;t take them so all my 6 were taken by friends which is much better IMO

When OLD a few years ago I remember seeing photos, sometimes with their children, using some app to have cartoon eyes and halos or cat features etc.
That was weird AF IMO, couldn't swipe left quick enough. Left I tell you. Don’t you go thinking I swiped right now.

Yes I remember seeing those back in the day too. As others have stated, the selfies in the public toilets of the local Ritzy night club are pretty off putting as well.

The worst ones are when they do a selfie in the mirror in the bedroom and you can see the reflection of the bedroom and it looks like a squat.

All of the above are council as fk, you know it is going to be children by different baby daddies, council accommodation or a rental with mould on the walls and benefits or a low paid admin job. Continually going on about what a loser the ex(s) was while you think "So why did you let him impregnate you then?"

These women are the lowest hanging fruit for anyone who just wants to pump and dump them, all the while these women are holding out for a decent man to come along to take them away from it all and give them the life they have picked out for themselves in their Pinterest account.

Just don't even go there, the juice just ain't worth the squeeze no matter how thirsty you are.

Quick update

3rd date last night with date #2, gallery shut at 6pm so couple of quiet bars in South Ken, went v well again (Joey - £47, she matched me round for round)

1st date on Wed with filthy sounding GP

2nd date with date #3 on Friday.

Hopefully narrowing down to 3 and trying to delay the others in case they don't work out. A few other conversations going on but keen not to ask out yet, one is over from US until Jan deciding whether to relocate, so I have an excuse to pause that

I see the thread's going through one of its periodic hyper-misogynistic phases. nuts

On the age thing, my current companion is quite a lot younger than me. It's rather nice in middle age, and she certainly has nicer legs than most women my age, but I am fully aware of the vast gulf it will expose as we get older. Whether we/I can cope with that remains to be seen, but young partner doesn't always mean brilliant.

She sounds like a keeper if she is buying rounds

As in she has been sending you dirty messages and/or pictures and sex is basically a done deal? If so then that is the sort of date I would have arranged for a Friday, taken spare clothing in the car and assumed it was quite likely going to be an all weekend thing.

Sounds like you are having way more success than anyone else on this thread at the moment.

maybe they are just highlighting the idea that they have kids. Past a certain age it is fairly unreasonable to expect that someone eligible, nice, attractive, not poor, clever etc is also totally unencumbered with kids and exes. It's just life.
