PS - interestingly, the difference in volume from a de-cat non-S V8 and V8S is marked!
The S has the sports silencer BG33 5230 AC

when I had my decats fitted I also had the dealer fit the sports silencer same as the V8S and it now sounds great and when I have the valves open I don't think much different to a GT8

Even closer to me, many thanks for this your Lordship! I presume that's your car in the picture, is it silver or does it have a hint of blue?

Had a fiddle with my rear

Don’t know if all are same at the rear diffuser but mine is a gunmeatal colour and was stained and streaky. Used some g3 and much better. Also rubbed up the fixings and silencer

Got it out for the first time since October. Drove up to Caffeine and Machine to see what all the fuss was about - really cool place. Went with one my clients who has a 911 - great little hoon up from Cobham. Weather was stunning!

Thursday 28th march 2019 would have been my parents 60th wedding anniversary. Sadly my dad passed away after a long illness last October. Rather than mope about it mum organised a lunch party for her surviving bridesmaids (my aunts) and best man (my uncle) - her brother). I drove down from Cheshire to Devon in the V*V roadster with the roof down all the way to take her to lunch - she also insisted on the roof down and arrived in style if not a bit windswept. Drove back all the way at night with the roof down as well and couldn't resist the occasional throttle blip going under motorway bridges........

Car now waiting in the garage for a clean as weather crap up here at the moment.

Ordered the CC Charger Auto Memory Exhaust Remote Control for my Vanquish evil

Also replaced all four tyres on my Golf R with Pilot Sport 4's because they were worn out, not going to stress them yet, need the garage to look at my disks and pads because after having my wheels off I think it's fair to say they may need a change biggrin

Pulled 4 slats out of my grille as per Redpants.

I like the look but not the gubbins on show behind and the increased possibility of strike damage. I'm thinking paint the removed ones black and refit to get most of the look but more protection. Someone else has done this I think.

Any opinions?
