A very chavy daughter of a friend of ours bought this electric quad bike for their 3 and 5 year old daughters for Christmas:

It was £550 it was built in their flat, they can't get it out as its too big!

They are proper chavvy, the girls are all pink glitter, expensive clothes, hair bows etc and yet they have no money, so the parent of the daughter pays the rent for them!
hehe I seen chavs with these yesterday

My recent favourite - people wearing cotton tracksuits in the pissing rain.
And the thinnest of thin open canvas shoes / sandals.

Unless you're doing some kind of sport.

In Pateley Bridge yesterday, I spotted someone walking about the park in the middle of town with a metal detector,
assuming he had lost keys or something, thought nothing of it,

until he started digging a hole a foot or so deep in the turf.

This Christmas the new local council estate decided to erect a Christmas grotto on the way out of their estate and dedicate it to some young lad that died in a different city last summer.

What, wearing that heavy shirt? There's snow on the ground - he'd have deigned to wear a vest if he was in Newcastle.

It's up there with "My grandad died at Auschwitz"
"Oh no, what happened?"
"Fell off the watchtower".

Dunno if Mrs DS's dad ever said to any Germans on holiday "Oh yes, I visited Bremen (or wherever) during the war" (he was in a Lancaster).
