I really enjoyed You.
I love the narrating throughout as in what they're thinking. Oh and Becks best mate is fooking lovely.

I've tried 'You' and I think it is terrible, the main actor is poor imo.
this ^^^ Mrs Iroc loves it but it bored me to tears and irritated me in equal measure

Funny how we all have a different viewpoint. hehe

Part way through season 1 and I think it's good.

Disappointed to hear rumours that Mindhunter might be done as the director is too busy.

Finished Witcher

Started off thinking it was dross, got better mid way but I now consider it to be a steaming turd

Final battle, no idea who is attacking who and why, don’t care and don’t know most of the characters

Turd
Yup, ste.
Nice to know I am not alone.
More Witcher less story around the world, I want to see him mooching about killing stuff and being a Witcher not the geopolitics of the different cities / districts.

I think I posted earlier that he is only on screen for appx 1.5 hours in 8!
I've been watching this, I've a episode to go tonight, it catches my attention at times but for most of it I haven't a fking clue whats going on. It seems to be all over the place and I've no idea who is fighting who as they have just dumped me into it.

One thing I will say in its favour is there is a bounty of tits. Guid yins tae, cracking ones.
3 episodes in and I am very tempted to give up on it. Great visuals, lots of potential, but it's all over the place and I don't care about any of the characters. Shame.
Managed 3 episodes. I'd rather guide Grandad into Grandma than watch another.

Watched Hail Satan last night. Very good.

Long Shot.

Pretty good, some funny bits.

Charlize Theron is absolutely statuesque and wears hundreds of posh frocks and generally does an amazing job of being amazing.
Spotted this yesterday, and it caught my eye because I recalled your recommendation.

Some good chuckles, and my goodness, she does classy well! Worth watching just for that red dress...

Thanks!

"Kim's Convenience"
Light hearted sitcom about a US/Korean family running a small shop. The dad in particular has some great lines. Only a few in but enjoying it

"Love" Gillian Jacobs(Community) Romantic comedy with mild nudity. Again only a couple in but seems quite good

It would add a bit if they do follow them beyond their time at College. Lexi was a proper wild child with great potential so hopefully she doesn't end up throwing that away as she looked quite a self destructive personality and screwed things up at the end. Under that there is a really bright person i think.

Got a link to a new series tonight called October Faction, another horror genre involving vampire type characters and a secret organisation, I'll give the first episode a whirl when it launches to see what it's like.

Looks good.

Starts (legally anyway smile) on 23rd. The wife loves a good vampire show.

Dracula the series. I believe it is 7 episodes.

So well done!

Highly recommend and would love to hear your thoughts.

The gentleman who played the Count was perfect. The Nun Nemesis was very funny and perfect. And the main man the story revolved around in the beginning was perfect.

NOT a CGI fest thankfully or if it was it looked more real and the atmosphere was all the better for it.

9/10 only because i wish it were longer!

I tried to watch the Messiah after reading reviews on here, I found the first episode utterly turgid, does it get better?
its very slow too slow. The problem is there is maybe one revelation per episode and you basically trend water waiting gor it to happen.

Lots of 1000 yard stares and minimal narrative just pushes my patience too far and i came away underwhelmed. It would be better starting on s2, if there is one..
I had great expectations.
From the cover it does look like it’s actually the life story of the Israeli lady who won Eurovision a few years back.

Isn't this the same series that's on BBC player? If so it's 3 episodes only. Haven't watched it yet but it's on my list.

Sex Education series 2 out today. Been watching the first two episodes on a flight back from Sweden. Great continuation of the humour of Series 1 so far and seems well written and not ‘tacked in’ like many second series can feel.

Not expecting universal praise on here as I know the US/80s style high school setting irked some, but I like it.
