I've never managed to find a version with English Subs. Where was it?
it's on NetFlix
Look Who's Back. Is it a different name on UK Netflix or is it for USA or other another country? This is what my search came up with on the Netflix app.

It's not The Dictator, obvs hehe
Try 'Er ist wieder da'.

I must say, whilst the book had me in stitches, the film was a disappointing presentation of it. I guess you can cut closer to the bone in print.

rewatched Deadpool last night with Mrs who hadn't seen it before. Laughed all the way thru, lots of industry in jokes, ridiculous action, what's not to like. Liked it as much the second time round

The Equaliser 2, grand out up to the last 20 mins, where upon it takes a turn for the worst.
I got up to about 30 mins from the end before I lost interest and turned it off.

Mentioned this on the Netflix thread. It was disjointed rubbish.

Big Brother (Donnie Yen) Chinese language heartwarmer about a teacher.

Not too bad (albeit simplistic)

Stumbled across a film on Netflix from 2013 called -Closed Circuit starring Eric Bana about a Terrorist Attack on Borough Market and the prosecution of the perpetrator. Not sure why I haven't seen it before but it was quite enjoyable.

Today's Sky Premiere The Kindness of Strangers starring Bill Nighy about a number of people in NeybYork coming together to help each other. Although itvwas a bit slow, I really enjoyed it.

Sabotage

Late night, Film 4, Arnie, got to be good right?

Oh dear. I can only assume the entire cast and crew had a collective aneurysm, it was unbelievably poor. IMDB reckons 5.7, it's a 3.5 at best.

Escape From New York, 4k UHD Blu-ray.

Great film, some heavy grain at times
but overall a really nice upgrade. Best watched alone in the pitch black with headphones.

9/10.

Unthinkable.

You think it will be your standard ‘find the bombs before time runs out” kind of thriller.

But it asks some really hard questions.

Good cast too.

How far would you go to save millions of people? No really, what would you be prepared to do?

9 Dilemmas out of 10.

The Lighthouse

I had hoped for better to be honest.
Didn't really care about the characters, wasn't really fussed about the outcome, didn't particularly get sucked into the atmosphere.

I'm sure some folk will like it better.

Rewatched the excellent "in the loop" and found out afterwards that the girl that the curly haired SPAD hooks up with in Washington is the actress from "My girl" now grown up.

She went on to play a similar character in VEEP. Never knew she was a former child star though.

Okay, not film, but Aaron Sorkin and Thomas Newman

Having watched West Wing start to finish twice, I still prefer The Newsroom (just finished a third viewing of all three seasons).

If you haven't watched, and like his material, I consider this his best work. Thomas Newman doing his usual stunning work.

You need to get over ep 1 of the first season which is a bit crap. It gets much better.

Can download via Sky, or buy from everywhere.

Almost anything is the correct answer.

Torture, execution, allow myself to be rogered by a rugby team etc

If faced with a catastrophic nuclear threat and a suspect who knew the bombs whereabouts I think it's game on and anything goes.

you were never really here

joaquin phoenix as a suicidal ex forces / ex FBI turned mercenary who specialises in finding traficked children and inflicting brutal vengeance on their captors

its dark, and doesn't give anything away. there's a few wtf moments and the ending is weird. very brutal, really great in parts, as a whole though i'm not sure how to rate it. its different which was refreshing, but we had to watch snatch afterwards to cheer ourselves up.

i'll go with 7 hammers out of 10 heads
