2009 Honda Civic Type-R FN2
Discussion
After the recent article and having a hankering for a hot hatch I got back with what is now my FN2 (Non-GT) a couple of hours ago.
2009, 91k, FSH and MOT'd until May all for the grand sum of £2600 which I think is a bargain.
Got a few little jobs to tidy it up but overall it is very clean.
Jobs I am wanting to get done ASAP are as follows:
Thoroughly clean, polish & wax including filling in a few of the stone chips.
Swap out the crappy gear knob for a genuine Type R ball knob.
Change the front brake pads.
Change the gearbox oil.
Adjust the biting point for the clutch.
Remove the non standard HID kit and put back to standard.
Absolutely loved the drive home and looking forward to getting stuck in on Saturday.

Thanks! I was pretty chuffed, and still am, with what I gave for it.
Think I will sort all the niff naff for a couple of hundred and then just look forward to using it and trying to further restore it. Some may think I am mad as its only an old Civic but I find it pretty satisfying it although the Wife will undoubtedly hate me!!!
