The Leeds Guide gave it a favourable review and implied Jenson was a nice chap and quite hands-on - have any locals visited since it opened and is it worth a trip over to try?

Response's below the Harrogate News website article on Victus are pretty damning. Must pay a visit and try their pancakes & maple syrup though. I'll report back.
