What are you guys using to read the downloaded data from your digital tacho.

I have found this company who is charging £95 for the software plus we also need to buy the card reader which seams quite reasonable.- http://www.tachodisc.co.uk/tachograph-products/dig...

We need to keep within the law but do not need all singing and dancing software

We used clockwatcher at the Haulage company I used to work for, seemed to do the job and reasonably priced.

A lot of our customers use the Tachodisc software with the VDO download key and some have also purchased the more expensive Continental [Siemens] VDO TIS-Web as it does a lot more for you.

Keep away from the SD card equipped download kit, it's cheap for a reason. We're getting quite a few guys coming in saying the DTCO won't download, but when we put our VDO key in, it works straight away. I think it's an issue with the SD card myself.

Try www.exentra.co.uk

You can get Soloplus software for £85 to download tacho data.

If you need something for analysis and reporting try Smartanalysis from Exentra. Free to sign up and you only pay for the driver data you download.
