Hello

Following on from this thread here it is now decision time for the retrim. I have already had the car re carpeted in black, so just need to decide wether to go red alcantara/leather or black and silver alcantara/leather.

The car is a spectraflair silver T350, This is how the car looked before carpets were done

The inspiration for the red leather is coming from the Jaguar CX-16 concept which i thought looked stunning, would be trimming the TVR in a very similar theme as this

OR

do i play it safer with this combination

Sorry don't have the privilege to do a poll as that would have been the easiest.

Too much red there, maybe a black/red combo with less of a clitoris feel about it?

the last pic is the best combo in my opinion, when ever I see a car with full red interior it reminds me of a Quentin Tarrantino movie!

I think the black and white would contrast better with your cars colour.

The red is nice but random for your paint work.

Do you mean for spectraflair silver tvrs? or silver cars in general? i thought silver exterior and red leather went together a lot. Seen quite a few SLS silver with the red leather interior and thought they look good.

Depends on how red it is. Mulberry would look very impressive against the Spectraflair paint, not so impressive if the red is as bright as the CX16 above.

Hi Euan, I think red/black goes very well with Silver - adds a bit of oooomph to the overall effect of the car. Bright Red would be too much, but a proper, classy deep red like this would work very well and differentiate it from many other Spectraflair Silver Tivs...

Hope that helps biggrin

Very good point if I am spending the money to do this it would be a good idea to make the car unique. So copying the black and silver interior is probably not the best idea. So may be some red rather than
ALL red.

Everybody appears to love the interior of this Sag http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3580887.htm

Quilting is very much an accquired taste - I like the door cards, but not the roof/seats for some reason. frown

Previously my iced titanium tuscan S with full mulberry red leather and ruby red carpets throughout in my opinion was the best colour combo and throughout ownership never saw another one like it. Both a sprectraflair silver T350 and saggy would look fantasic in a full deep red interior - again i havent seen one in the flesh either! Its for you to decide what you think is best though....

I actually bought a set from eBay and got the guys who were doing the audio to fit them. Got quotes from d and c trim for doing them which were very reasonable. Where are you based?

Gosh that sounds awfully expensive for a chim re carpet, going to be using a company just outside Glasgow for the retrim, prices are very reasonable and quality is excellent (apparently) let me know if you want there details

Still not made my mind up on this one and struggling to find a company in central scotland that is willing and able to do the job, and that i trust.

Any way in the mean time stumbled across pictures of str8six sagaris interior which looks great. However not sure if it would go with a silver exterior?
