Don't get mad, get even.....

What would happen if (on my lathe) I turned up a very precisely tapered non return bung which when inserted with some force up a local criminal/scrotes exhaust pipe could not be blown out with any amount of force?

I think the outcome (with respect to the car) wouldn't be very spectacular, I'm guessing the engine would just stall and not run.

What do you think?

Just shove a small butane gas cylinder up there. Right up.

A well used Mafia assassination technique. Apparently whistle

Much better idea. Works just as well and far less complex than the OPs suggestion.

Indeed, would save you having to nip out and measure said scrotes exhaust pipe bore, prior to turning up bung.

Although if you have access to the car....you could be a nice chap and change his oil for him. Drain into a container and dispose of the oil properly of course. Although as you cant open the bonnet, you cant refill it. He might still make some noise, then some new noises, then silence lol

As a teenager i backed up my VX 4/90 to a grass/mud bank on the Dunstable downs, as it was then. Turned the engine off, had a shagadelic couple of hours with my then girlfirend and spent the next couple of hours trying to start the car. Eventually i got out had a look around the back and realised the exhaust tip was buried right in the bank. I pushed the car forward and cleared out the mud that was stuck in the exhaust. After a few of turns of the engine it fired into life.

The potato will have the same effect won't it?. A blockage is a blockage.

Whatever a VX 4/90 is I doubt it had the puff to blow away a whole grass/mud bank, a potato is probably a bit smaller and lighter....
