Neco scooters, any knowledge / experience ?
Discussion
A friend of mine is rather "into" scooters, or she'd like to be.
She has been out looking, and seems rather taken with "Neco" scooters.
I've never heard of them, anyone any experience of knowledge of them please ?

The Neco uses a GY6 engine and Honda used to use them in the Spacey scooter and others IIRC.
Not the most inspiring engine but for someone wanting a classic vespa look without gears or runnin costs they may well be a good bet. I had a try on one and it felt a bit gutless but very similar to my other half's Vespa LX.
If she's looking for a traditional scooterists view this might be worth a read:

Or she could try speaking to one of the more honest traders at Eddy Bullet Scooters http://www.eddybullet.com/
From a personal viewpoint it looks a damn sight better than what they are trying to pass off as the new Lambretta
