I don't have personal experience but I do have a good friend who had out of warranty engine problems who complained and got nowhere. Do you have legal expenses insurance as part of your motor or household insurance? That may be a better route. Good luck.
Hadnt thought of that but im sure wont be needed. Just wanted to know if there is someone at Porsche that will help 'lean' on a dealer to get things resolved thats all.Im sure it'll work out ok in the end...tks
Customer service from Porsche is virtually non existent - the dealer is your best bet to resolve an issue. If you need Porsche to lean on your dealer then I wish you luck. The engine in my wife's new 997 let go at 7500 miles and Porsche were a bloody nightmare and refused to fund new engine despite my dealer's protestations - in the end the dealer stumped up the extra to go from rebuild to new engine. That was my 10th Porsche and I vowed never to buy another new one - I now run a 1970 911s.
Here's hoping you fare better.
