Emirates A380 had a door open mid flight. Apparently, the stewardesses ran around like headless chicken shouting "It's going to blow". I have no issue with this reaction as its considerable more brave than what I would do.

Terror at 27,000ft: Crew plug gap in super jumbo jet door with blankets and pillows stuck together with gaffer tape after it 'blows open' during the flight

I bet Boeing are pleased to have some attention directed away from the 787 at the moment. I wonder if they 'encourage' articles like this?

It's not about Airbus vs. Boeing, the Daily Mail just hates air travel. It has been that way ever since they found out that you are only a short flight away from entire countries full of FOREIGNERS.

You are correct.
It is Americas fault that this pic even made the news.
Specifically, it is a photoshop piece that originated from the Boeing "Strategic Disinformation Center".
You're a clever devil Clarkey.
The CIA has it's eye on you now.

Complete and utter pish from the Daily Mail
Can you be a bit more accurate with the discription of your link... I have taken the liberty of altering your link to a more accurate heading. Its a bit like putting NSFW on a post... some people like to be warned that it is a link to the Daily Wail

OK, I confess that the OP was a little tongue in cheek as I know the door wasn't really open. I thought the image of the air hostesses cowering behind their seats was amusing. I did think this would be good for Boeing though even if it is a no story to those in the know
