Hi there
I am currently trying to squeeze a v6 cosworth 24v bob engine into my little kit car. The engine is mounted now im trying to get all pipes back in the right place however not being a mechanic or not being the one who removed the engine from the scorpio it came from I am quite puzzled by some of the pipes.

Does anybody know where I could find a haynes like manual or any other workshop manual for this engine, must have pictures!
Please help.

Which pipes have you got to plump in? Best bet for pictures may be on the ford scorpio forum, as they have quite a few pics and technical bits on there biggrin

Or bung some pics up on here of what you have and i'm sure someone can microsoft draw some guides for you wink

I dont know what the pipes are. I will try to post up some pictures but this forum doesnt seem to like my phone uploads. If anybody has just some general pictures then they may become useful.

do you have a photobucket acccount? (or similar picture hosting account)
I've just uploaded to there and added the IMG code to a post and voila biggrin

Its a BOA and not a BOB, but it may help you a tad with hoses

right i think i have finally managed to upload photos. now i know what some of them are but i have put yellow arrows on all the pipes that are lose in each of the photos anyway, i also know that i have pointed out the same pipes in different pictures but please do include info on them too. please if somebody can help me out with which one is what i would very much apprieciate it.
again although i do know what some of them are please just treat me like a idiot and point out the obvious ones anyway.
any help on these pipes would be great but if you have pictures and/or can tell me where they conect to then i will be very thankful.
ps. this is a low budget hobby project car and is far far away from finished

well, the curly one at the back goes to the feed(inlet) for the heater matrix.
The big pipe in the 1st pic is the radiator top hose, the one below that on the water pump goes around to the heat exchanger on the oil filter housing.
The smaller pipe in the top pic goes back to the coolant expansion tank normally, if theres already one that goes to that from the radiator, then it can be T'd in to that wink

the other side of the heater matrix goes down to the other fitting on the heat exchanger, and the pipe in the last pic looks like its the feed to the bottom of the radiator from the expansion tank to me.
think thats about it, unless i spot an error with my post and the pic references tongue out
