Interior Refurb Pics...

Here are the before and after of the refurb. Thanks for your help everyone!
Started yesterday evening. Finished, this evening! Just have to see how it lasts. Carpets could do with a third blast I think, but I'll leave that until later in the year now. I may even replace them. I did the lot with Furniture Clinic stuff. However, for those of you planning to use your own compressor, you will find that you will not be able to connect it to the mini spray brush that FC supply. I had to go out and purchase another mini airbrush from Machine Mart for the plastic connector only (£10), so factor this into your costs! (see pics of connector)

Thanks
Sorry, meant to respond last night. I didn't bother removing the centre console as it didn't need colouring. I simply masked-off the edges and applied the colour to the carpet. I used a clean cloth with white spirit to remove any overpainted marks. The Furniture Clinic carpet paint comes off quite easily in the first 5 minutes. However, I sent my piece of carpet off for matching, but wish I had simply gone a couple of shades darker as the carpet has developed its own patina over the years. A darker colour would have concealed patchiness better.Edited by chris1972 on Saturday 13th July 09:49
Fabulous. There's a car I quite like in the classifieds that would need the colour of the leather changing from tan to magnolia to suit my tastes. Would this stuff do the job and give a long lasting result, or would the old colour show through after a while? Are there interior people out there that would do this work? I would almost certainly cock it up if I attempted it myself!

Furniture Clinic will do the work for you I think. Taylor TVR are also doing this sort of work, no doubt using the same stuff (they have it advertised on their FB page https://www.facebook.com/TaylorTVR). It is meant to last as long as the factory finish. Fingers crossed

Thanks Chris. As I said, your car looks great. Hi Chris, Looking good mate.
If you still have the chance (I know your seats are back in) I would advise the more lacquer coats on the hard wearing areas the better, I had a mark and used some leather cleaner on the bolster and I found some colour on the cloth, so touched it up and re sealed it with another 3 coats. Your carpet looks really good as well.

I was thinking along similar lines. I'll order another bottle tomorrow. Should be fairly easy to do with the seats in. Even so, doesn't take long to get the seats out.If you still have the chance (I know your seats are back in) I would advise the more lacquer coats on the hard wearing areas the better, I had a mark and used some leather cleaner on the bolster and I found some colour on the cloth, so touched it up and re sealed it with another 3 coats.
