Rhodium on the left, GT on the right.

The Spyder would look good in Rhodium. Any news on 981 Spyder?

Is there any difference at all between rhodium and polar silver?

Seems a shame that Porsche developed just about the best silver out there, and then charge so much for it - if they reduced the premium a bit, I'm sure they'd sell lots more. (I suppose it keeps it exclusive but seems too "showey" to order it at that price in my book - YMMV)

Have they introduced Rhodium in order to increase sales of GT....?

My 997T is GT Silver and I absolutely love it. It's bright, doesn't show dirt, but looks more grey than silver (which I like). It also changes apperance in different lights.

The only downside is that it is a bh to match if you need any paint done.

I've owned both now.

C2S in GT - darker.

Cayman S in Rhodium - very light, white silver, very slight blue ting. Not polar.

Have to say I prefer Rhodium, but I would say that....

Agate would be my choice.

Rhodium Silver Metallic is more like the classic German racing silver.

GTS is nice, but it is still 'silver', as are, it seems, about half the cars on the road - so rather insipid.

Agate also nice but quite dark.

Meteor Grey Metallic was the perfect compromise

GT Silver works well with light and shade on complex shapes

For some reason GT silver always looked darker on the Carrera GT.

I've had it on a couple of Porsches and, as silvers go, it's one of the nicer ones, but still a bit bland. Never warmed to Polar and had that on two 993s.

Still a big fan of Platinum Silver, it was short lived as a colour for some reason

I really like GT Silver, but Polar Silver is my favourite Porsche colour. 993 Turbo in Polar is sensational

GT Silver is a more modern color. Darker. More gray than silver. Can look muddy In some light.
