I have heard that David Gerald can supply them.
Thanks, just tried but none available, haven't been available for some time.http://www.pilkington.com/europe/uk+and+ireland/en...
You cou try these guys if nobody has one. I think they can make pretty much anything.

I checked and Pilks don't have tooling. Doesn't necessarily mean they can't do something though. They have a plant down south somewhere that makes small runs of screens. They can make tooling from scratch but would need someone's car or a template screen to work from.
They have a stand at the Classic car show. You could ask if they can do anything if you are going.

Bad news folks. I spoke to the guys on the Pilkington stand at the NEC who said that the two pieces of glass that they really didn't want anything to do with were Cerbera windscreens and Jensen rear windows.
It appears that no amount of encouragement, or order size, would get them to produce a windscreen for us - heated element or not.
I don't if there are any other suppliers out there, but watch out if you have a crack on the screen come MOT time ...

Do the guys on the stand represent 'marketing' rather than engineering?
I know that one of the people attending this weekend on behalf of Pilkington is the plant manager from the Queenborough factory and what he or his colleagues have told you is correct. The curvature on sides of the Cerbera and Griffiths screens is very difficult to replicate with any accuracy. They tried to copy the Griffiths screen several years ago and couldn't achieve the repeatability that they wanted, so were not prepared to market the screen.
The factory has been going for probably forty or fifty years and has developed some very complicated screens including those for many of the Group C Le Mans cars. The skill level is second to none.
As I understand, it's the complex curvature on the sides which makes the glass commercially not viable.
Interesting (but depressing) comment Phil.
As TVR obviously managed to get a supply in the first place I'm guessing there was an element of them fitting the car to the screen which obviously isn't available to suppliers now?
Or is it just that they can't get sufficient reproducibility to get acceptable yields?

There was some mention of a company in Finland who actually supplied the glass (?) as they might entertain producing a screen, however I didn't manage to get much info about this.
As has been said already, very depressing to think an MOT failure could result in having to scrap the car.
