Ordered myself a special kit and it came last Friday...

Can really see the name on the box but this pic will help

It's the C1 Models Rauh Welt Begriff 964 transkit. I have the donor kit ready as well - Tamiya 911 GT2.

Kit comprises of;
RWB wide arch 964 shell
Two sets of different wheels
Custom Roll cage
Clear parts for the lights
Engine parts
Spoiler parts - options for 964 turbo spoiler or use the adapter for the GT2 spoiler
Large sheet of Photoetch parts
Photoetch grille mesh
Seat harness fabric
Sheet of decals
Very well made colour instructions
A couple of reference photos of the RWB 964 "Pandora One".

At £85 It's expensive for a kit but not expensive for a transkit as I've seen some transkits at well over £100 and the quality is no where near as good as this C1 Models kit. The shell has lots of detail, it's strong too, not at all flimsy, the Photoetch sheet is the same quality as Scale Motorsport's sets and the instructions are professionally printed colour booklet, not a home printed effort! Even the box it comes in is top quality. I'm not a kit collector, I intend to build every kit I have but it's almost a shame to build this one, I am going to though! smile

There is also the 993 RWB kit available too but as with this one, limited numbers and made to order, it's also cheaper than this one so get in while they're still available!

That's pretty cool!

I like some of the RWB stuff, but a lot of the time I also think some of them look a bit ruined / too extreme and abit tasteless.

I'm building a 993 road car out of a Tamiya RC kit, complete with lights and interior. It won't be as detailed as this kit but it will be a lot less static smile
