Just about possible - also don't underestimate the power of correct lighting.
In Fight Club they used "laser" lights to help Brad Pitt look ultra cut.

No reason why not, especially with enough motivation and determination. It's only 3lbs a week - on the high side but achievable with no long term negative effects.
That's not to say Men's Health is worth the paper it's written on. hehe

Hold on a tick, what is a "personal trainer" doing with 25% body fat anyway? Not exactly a good recommendation for his services?

Erm?
I guess it's the poor use of English, but it was the client at 25% BF.

I know a few fellow PT's who are 'larger'. But they are knowledgeable and motivate their clients. In a similar vein, I know of other PT's who are somewhat intimidating to potential clients. Body fat % means nothing if the trainer can't get their clients to adhere to change/program.

A transformation in 3 months like shown is entirely achievable, but it takes hard work and dedication. There were no magic pills used for sure.

Thats crazy.

A part of me thinks you need good genetics too. Not everyone can do that in 150 days.

Pretty spot on, checkout some of Elliot Hulse's videos on youtube. He speaks a lot about genetics and the role they play on your training and being the "Strongest version of yourself"

There are very few proven links to genetics and weight loss/gain to be honest. Its an extreme case but I think anyone who is really dedicated would be shocked how much you can change in a short amount of time.

I remember going to a talk where a guy was talking about GWAS (genome wide association studies) and how he could show links to diabeties from it, however he said he could give you genes for favorite colour and tv viewing habits if he wanted to- there are far to many variables to conclude anything reliable from these studies without some biology to back it up.

The only genes I can remember off hand are leptin and Myosstatin mutants that go crazy each way:

leptin -/-

myostatin

" I use only 2 dumbbells (8,5 kg / 19 lbs each). "

"only 20-25 minutes full body training every day."

Pretty impressive. I guess the muscle he's displaying is pretty much what he had when he was fat?

Pretty much!
This image is without the fur, spoiler tag in case anyone doesn't want to see a skinned mouse, it is pretty amazing though

Belgian blue cows are a breed with a natural mysostatin mutation:

Although there was a kid identified with a myostatin mutation in 2004 I don't know if they are being followed up link to study. Appologies if its behind a paywall, its just a case report and is mainly genetics anyway.

Well, he's put the daily routine here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L9CLvbh8sus

Random weight work so he basically just moved more and ate less everyday. I'm surprised he lost weight with that attitude.

He was fat. Now he's skinny.

He's not big. That takes time.

My brother is on the the cover of Mens Fitness this month and is a personal trainer to many well known faces.

His physique has taken years, not months.

He's often said to me he doesn't like it when on he's a magazine cover with headlines saying "achieve this physique in 6 months" or similar, because quite simply it's bks and belittles the hard work and dedication it actually really takes.
