Hi chaps

I found this when doing the (currently) daily search on e60 m5s and thought these 20mm spacers really did make the car look fantastic.

I just wondered if anyone runs spacers and if so does it adversely affect the balance / handling of the car at all? Or indeed put any additional stress of the car?

Sorry if these are stupid questions!

Any info / opinions much appreciated.

My E60 had spacers on when I bought it. I took them off, but they did allow the wheels to fill the arches a bit better. No adverse handling issues as far as I could tell. They're still in a box in the garage. Must advertise them. wink

Worst case: added stress on wheel bearings, extra rotational weight, wheel alignment issues.

In reality, probably none of the above.

I have either 15mm front and 12mm rear or the other way round and the car has a great aggressive stance and I have no adverse effects from the spacers at all. Looking at those pics, I cant (and dont) believe there isn't any tyre rub !!

The car pictured looks like it has also been lowered?
