Aston Martin V8 Vantage 4.3 Power Upgrade - Dyno Results....

Hi,
My car was Dyno'ed before I had the Aston Martin V8 Vantage 4.3 Power Upgrade fitted and I thought I would share the results.
Not a totally standard car as I had a QuickSilver SuperSport backbox fitted soon after I bought the car, if I had known I was going to do more stuff to the car I would have Dyno'ed before I did anything.
I am having 200 Cell Cats fitted on Tuesday and will Re-Dyno and post the results, if there are any :-)
QuickSilver SuperSport Backbox:

QuickSilver SuperSport backbox and Aston Martin V8 Vantage 4.3 Power Upgrade:

BHP Increase: 23.5 Torque Increase: 29.7
Maybe a placebo effect but the car does seem to pull smoother and harder above 4,000 RPM.
If the exhaust note becomes too tinny then I will refit the standard backbox with a remote switch, I guess if I Re-Dyno I should see the variance the QuickSilver backbox introduced?

Is that 370bhp in the second graph? (It's a bit blurry on my 'phone, I'm afraid).
Out of interest, which type of fuel are you 'running'? 95 RON or 97/98 RON Super? The reason I ask is because my 4.3l with AM Powerpack (but standard backbox) was dyno'd recently and it was clocked at 393bhp.

I had mine dynode pre cats and other exhaust mods with the quick silver back box fitted, the back box doesn't give any power increase at all... Just the sexiest noise ever imaginable....
Mine came out at 370BHP so will be going back for a re run once the full system has been put on... Manifolds are the last thing waiting to be fitted... So far have changed the air intake, cats and back boxes from a GT4 car... Just with these changes there is a difference... The manifolds will be the true tester.....

Once the cats have been fitted I am going to re-run on the same dyno.
As it does not cost a lot I may well run on a different dyno just to see the variance...
I love the sound of the QuickSilver backbox, I went for the SuperSport and not all the way with the SuperSport Plus.
Manifolds are the final thing on my list, need to workout the 'man-maths' to justify them... That should not take long! ;-)
