Going to latest unread post in each topic

Is there a setting to return to the latest unread post in each topic as when i go to look at a thread that has been looked at before i have to guess where i got up to last visit.

There is a bar across the page at the point of your last visit.

Sometimes there is a bar and it's frequently wrong. I told them about this months ago and nothing's been done. Why they've not gone to non-bespoke software I don't know!

The bar often does not correspond to the last time that you looked in that topic and if it is a topic with lots of pages how do you find that bar easily?

spend less time working and more time on PH and the bar will stay on page one. problem solved.
