Has anyone fitted 997 GT3 brake ducts to a 996 GT3?

Is there much difference, aside from price, between the two?

Ta. When you say the material is better do you mean they're slightly flexible so don't break in half at the first sign of a slight impact?

I had the 997 GT3 ducts fitted to my 996 C2, cost less than a tenner for the pair. On very poor road surfaces I've had them scrape the ground, but only once or twice and they're both still there.

I've got 997 Turbo Caliper ducts and 996 GT2 disc ducts to go on the rear of my 996 GT3, just haven't had time to fit them yet. Also running 996 Cups on the front (fitted by the first owner)

Cup spec ones look MASSIVE.

And expensive.

Are the 997 GT3 front spoliers (ducts), a straight swap onto the 996 GT2? One of mine is missing and one could do with being replaced. They're very low and easy to displace and/or damage.

996 GT2 ducts are also quite pricey.

Running 'Cups' on mine (came with the car), if your in Herts, your welcome to my 997 ducts at cost price - purchased to replace a broken cup but managed to fix it in-situ

997-341-484-92
997-341-483-92

I paid £4 each + VAT. They just clip on to my 996 and protrude lower than the non-GT3 originals (and possibly lower than the 996 GT3 versions).

They are big. They scuff the ground more than the splitter.

They also fit 987 Boxster/Cayman if anyone's interested.

The 997 GT3 items certainly hang lower below the car than the stock 996 C2 ducts that were on the car. For less than a tenner I thought it would be worth a shot, but sadly you only see the result if you're lying on the ground in front of them. I don't think I'm going to be noticing any braking improvements from them.

Have no idea about the Cup parts; they're silly money.
