Would anyone on here have a copy of the Grantura to Taimar book by Graham Robson that they might like to sell?

Thanks

Yes but I was wondering if anyone on here might have a copy that they either no longer need or would be willing to sell.

On this matter,

I know the guy who used to own the Taimar (the first to have the Salisbury diff) that was on the cover of 'Grantura to Tasmin' and he sold it about 5 years ago. I've heard no more of it since. Anyone know what happened to UHV766S?

Do you mean Dave A, who owned it when the photo was taken?

I went to the Blue Bell with the owner of the Tasmin, he never informed me of the photo shoot until we arrived; I would have combed my hair wink

This must have been in 1981. I remember the owner of the red Tuscan SE had it up for sale at £4500 at the time, which was a lot of money at the time. He later dropped the price and it ended up in the USA, now it's back in Europe. Nope, not seen Dave's old Taimar for a very long time.

No, A guy called Mike Pilkington (used to go the Colin Parry's North London meeting) he had the car from about 1987 for about 20 years - so if you'd gone out into the carpark rather than drink beer you'd have seen it!

I know the guy who owned the SWB Tuscan on the cover of the green book and the guy who owns the Taimar TurboSE on the front cover of the blue book. I also once owned the red Vixen on the front cover of the current book but it didn't look like that when I owned it! Funny how nobody ever admits to knowing any Tasmin owners??

I also own copies of all the Collectors guides and virtually all the other early TVR books, some new, some used and could be tempted to allow them another lover in exchange for beer tokens but "4" of them won't work.
Not quite sure what you mean by "4" won't work but back to my original question what price would you sell me a copy of the book I am after then please?

Thanks

I believe the SWB Tuscan is being "recreated" in a garage near me wink
