A couple of families (mine included) are looking to meet up in or around Basingstoke on Sunday.

Looking for a Pub that does a good Sunday dinner and as we will have 7/8 kids across the 3 families maybe a kids play area (inside or out) or park nearby to keep them occupied before or after ?

Any suggestions ?

I have had a look on-line and can't really see anything with a play area so maybe that's a non-starter.

We are traveling from different directions so doesn't need to be Basingstoke just that sort of area.

Cheers all !

I have a friend who lives in Basingstoke and when I meet him we usually go to the Chineham Arms in...Chineham smile I'm not being a snob and haven't really been anywhere else, but I was pretty impressed with it for a pub in Basingstoke.

Not far from j7 of the m3- not had a bad meal yet, home cooked food and good service, also has a small adventure play area.

A bit generic as its a chain restaurant and it's near a busy main road, but it's not a bad pub by any means.nice kids area.
