Will this kitchen sink fit-100cm above 40 & 60 base cabinet?
Discussion
The sink is 1000 mm wide. My cupboard is 400mm which would be under the drainer, followed by 600mm sink base cabinet where the bowl would sit. But would this actually fit? The drainer would be up against a wall so nothing I could do it it didn't quite fit!
I'm thinking I could fit the sink slightly to the right IYSWIM so the bowl is not actually central in the 600mm cabinet. Or will that look s
t?
plan of my kitchen:

dimensions:
Bowl Size: 435mm x 435mm x 180mm
Cut-Out Size: 980mm x 490mm (why is the cut out size so wide? - I didn't think you cut out the drainer??)

Alternatively if this doesn't fit they do do a sink that is 860mm wide in total (smaller bowl size - 350 wide) which I could use. I just wanted to try and get a full size bowl in there.

The cut out is that size to facilitate the fitting of the clips that hold the sink down onto the countertop.
You have 1200mm so yes, it will fit.
ETA - I read that as 800 and 400! I blame the wine
It might just about to in, but would look rubbish - get a smaller one!

That sink won't fit. It would also look bad with the drainer flush against the wall.

Switch the 600 & 400 base units around so the 600 sits against the wall then the 400 and washing machine.
Use a right hand drain sink like the one you have shown and install with the bowl tight to the right hand side gable of the sink base, this will give you some worktop left over between the sink and the left hand wall.

Oh I see what you mean. One reason I was slightly reluctant is there is a chimney breast that sticks out. However having measured it would give 46cm to stand in (ie between the sink and your back to the chimney breast) which is 'doable'. Here's some pics with your suggestion, & so you can see the chimney breast. thanks Use a right hand drain sink like the one you have shown and install with the bowl tight to the right hand side gable of the sink base, this will give you some worktop left over between the sink and the left hand wall.
(can't get a pic of the exact sink but this one is a similar size 900mm long, I think the FRANKE one above would leave a bit of worktop to the left, as you say)

yeah used to have washing machine in corner. However to get it in / out you had to disassemble all other units, (as chimney breast prevented you pulling it forward), which was fun when it went wrong and I had to replace it. That's the only reason I haven't put it in the corner this time.

4m wide out of shot (but that part is only 3.2 wide cos door cuts into the room) by 4.4 deep. But it is combined open plan living / dining room as flat in london so not much space. Didn't fancy L shape as I don't think would look as attractive as separating kitchen area with units and worktop as per pictures above,
