Pirelli Angel GT - tread direction

Its to do with the forces - acceleration on the rear is one way, braking on the the front is the opposite direction. Possibly connected with the tyre construction too.
This.At the most extreme, acceleration has 100% of the force on the rear, better known as a wheelie. Similarly, under severe braking 100% of the load is on the front, also known as a stoppie. Obviously you can have 100% load (or thereabouts) without the bike being at a 45 degree angle to the horizontal - I'm not suggesting that they're optimised for showboating

I still have a part used pair of them that I bought & never fitted if anybody's after a cheap pair. They only had 2-300 miles use for assessment by Triumph.
Bought them for my ST1050 but then changed bikes
Would you rate them?Bought them for my ST1050 but then changed bikes

I'd be interested, since mine are practically square...
