I'm looking for some track rod ends for my Volvo and was looking at the usual Lemforder and Meyle, both decent quality items. I've noticed Febi Bilstein also appear in searches, does anyone have any experience with Febi Bilstein as a brand? Are they anything to do with Bilstein the suspension manufacturers?

I've used FB parts, always been okay. Some reports of counterfeit FB stuff though.

Good parts, didn't know there were fakes around though.

No - pure coincidence, if you believe in such things.

Quality parts. I would chose over the other two every time.

Febi Bilstein are regarded to be a reboxer of parts (as are Meyle).

Lemforder (part of the ZF group) are OE suppliers of suspension and steering parts to many manufacturers. I would go for Lemforder over the other two.

In my experience Meyle HD front control arms last far longer than Lemforder on BMW E36/46.

I have tried most makes and over nearly 100K miles Meyle HD have already outlasted them by double the distance.

Used all of those brands on VWs over many years and none of them are as good as OEM for lifespan, in my experience.

Avoid anything made by 'vetech' at GSF. Utter garbage.

I went with Lemforder in the end, which were the middle priced brand out of the 3.
I have used the Meyle HD drop links before and seemed infinitely better quality than the no name rubbish that lasted less than 30k miles.

30k isn't bad for no-name rubbish!

This... Back in the day GSF were great for OEM parts, but it's a lottery now as to what you get.

Same for Saabs too, if you could get the part to fit at all it'd fall apart within a month or so anyway. Total ste.

And back on topic, I've found Febi stuff to be pretty decent so far.

Oh, gawd, I'd forgotten them from my Saab days!
For Landys, Britpart is all you need to know.

Some of the Mercedes owners on the 1-5k Smoker barge thread use Febi Bilstein parts IIRC. It may be worth asking about their experiences with them on that thread too.

Lemforder make the OE Jaguar parts too, so presumably they are good quality.
