Costco have the air-rams on offer for £160 inc VAT which is a good £60 cheaper than anywhere else so I was wandering what their like? We have a decent vacuum for deep cleaning but want a quick cleaner for individual rooms that will save unfurling the corded one each time. I just don’t want to waste our money if it’s a bit pants! The Dyson equiv also looks good but I’m not prepared to spend that sort of money.

Mine works great for cleaning and well worth buying.
Are Costco also selling the hand-held version as I cant see anything on their website yet?

That is utter bks! For one,our gtech leaves nothing like that behind! It actually puts lines in the carpet.Notice he doesn't mention the battery life of the gtech either which is twice as long. You also dont have to walk around with your hand on the trigger and its pretty much half the price.

Not a great fan of ours. Seemed to work well initially but needs to be emptied after just one floor eg need to empty twice for the house, runs out of charge real quick and then broke within a few months of purchase. We went back to Dyson getmecoat

Well impressed with ours, astonished how much it picks up, bought the hand held to with the car kit which is really handy, came with a free extension pole and an extra set of filters when you register your warranty. Battery life is good also

if it was just a hand held I was after I might of bought the dyson but the gtech upright is light and easy to use/empty clean etc

The gtech upright has fluffed up the long pile carpet in our front room too,

We went with the bosch,

very happy with it and can clean the whole house before it needs emptying.

Ours has been great. Ditched the Dyson. The mini vac thing (handheld job) is good too.

"Gtech...blah blah blah, whereas the Dyson uses our latest digital motor"

So a video made by someone who manufacturers the motors used in the Dyson. No bias there then. The big Dyson logo on the video at the end is also a clue.

Had one for about a year now; it's excellent. Picks up everything that I can see, battery lasts ages, it's light, fairly cheap. Missus absolutely loves it, as does her mother who bought one after trying ours.

Thanks all - Trip to Costco on Saturday then smile
£160 seems a very good price compared with other retailers and especially against the competition.

Signup for their newsletter thingy - we've had a few discounts that way.

Mrs Podie tried one in Lakeland before buying... and proceeded to clean the entire shop hehe

We have one and to date have found well up to the job with the exception of the deep "shag" pile carpet in the bedroom.

Bet the trip to Costco sets you back a damn site more than 160 quid, costs me a fortune whenever we go there. Great place biggrin
