Yes but 7 of them were, along with several other cars totalling £24M!!!

Really, Bond! You burned £24million in new film Spectre... just on blowing up cars?

How many did they build? Is that perhaps the only one left?

10 built, although they wouldn't ordinarily build them all 'complete' as some are just for close ups/studio shots/etc and certainly they never normally fit the gadgets to all of them

Did you spot if the paint was bubbling around the door handle?

I've had a few invites to the film premier - is get where you saw the car?

Sadly I didn't get to see it in the flesh. Mate of mine took the pic in Leicester Square yesterday. Just sitting there...

I am informed, by a supposedly reliable source, that three survived the filming, and would you believe, ONE IS GOING TO BE FOR SALE!

EON are going keep one, Aston Martin will keep one, and the third one is to be sold in a charity auction.

Mr. Mendes was going to use prototype DB11 cars, but then saw some early sketch drawings of the Vantage replacement. He wanted that car for the film.

If you do see the dashboard of a DB10, what do you think? It is very different from the one we are all used to.

dash was horrible. Looked like lots of little compartments for sorting mail. And don't understand having switches on the shift lever? It bad enough everyone putting buttons all over the steering wheel.
Was driving with a friend in an F Type last weekend. Saw his "Im speeding" spoiler pop up. Really hope Aston doesn't start throwing those on too.

My guess Steve, is that those switches have been installed just for the film.
Might they be for a rear flame thrower, or even perhaps an ejector seat?
We should know in a few weeks time.

Hi Nigel/Beau

We were there too & Mark Higgins (what a nice bloke BTW) said all 10 had survived.

I like the design - they said they wanted it to have a shark-look & it certainly does!

Ah right, I wondered if it was the James Bond production people who wanted it (Sam Mendes) hence the question. I don't read Top Gear so never seen that article.

Saw it yesterday when my 9 year old eldest and I went to see Antman. The delivery driver kerbed the offside front wheel reversing into the cinema.
