How to make a slide to move parcels?
Discussion
Simple for some but I have no DIY skills.
What is the easiest, quickest and cost effective way to slide parcels from one floor to the next?
A spiral slide would be ideal but thats very costly. I've looked at rubbish chutes but things might get stuck.
What's a quick solution DIY people?
ETA - not sure why it's gone on its side! in fact that might help

Depends on how much space you've got & how fragile the packages are. I'd be tempted by an incline conveyor of some sort powered by gravity.
Add a motor & you've got a way of getting stuff upstairs too.
DIY solution? If you can't build a conveyor belt I'd just get a children's slide of some sort, or just knock one up with a bit of thin ply with some edging. Can be steep at the top & then flatten out to slow the parcels to a stop.

Basket and rope would mean someone would have to take it out of the basket at the bottom.
We are talking about over 50 parcels so that would not be possible.
Net or matress would not work as they would fall onto each other and crush the one already on the net!
Any advances!
Thanks for the suggestions.
