Our 14yr old daughter wants a treadmill for running. If we were to get one it is likely the whole family will use it, but not too heavily, probably about 6-10 hrs/wk. Space is not an issue.
My inclination is to get a reconditioned gym/commercial standard treadmill. These look to be £1000-£1500. These are likely to be reliable, hard wearing and retain value if we sell secondhand.
Or we could get a new treadmill. Does anyone have any recommendations for new treadmills between £500- £750? I would not want to spend as much as it would be unlikely to last as long or retain as much value.
Any thoughts or experience to share? Running outside for free always first choice, obvs.
