With the DVLA MOT History site which forwards here: https://www.check-mot.service.gov.uk/ a car I'm looking at, MOT hostory goes back to 2015. A couple of my own cars go back to 2006 and 2010.

Should the fact the history of the car I'm looking at (and hence verifiable mileage) only go back to 2015 be of any concern?

Obvious question but how old is the car? And is it an import?

Do you know that a car only needs an MOT once it reaches 3 years old?

Ummm... unless I'm missing something if it's a 2012 car then it's first MOT would have been 2015, hence no earlier info?

And ignoring the muppetry, the answer to the question in the header is... 2005/6, when computerised MOTs started.
