Santander Shares

First time on this Forum.

Like many I have some Santander shares dating back to the Abbey demutualisation.
Actually they are CDI's now rather than shares.
I am thinking of selling these but most of the on-line information - especially Shareview - just seems to go around in circles.

Has anyone actually sold these and if so what did you do and were there any problems.
I'm aware of the need to declare to the Spanish Tax authorities etc.

Just sold ours this week using the shareview online dealing service.
Waiting for the paperwork and expect the cheque next week.
Will look out the details tomorrow on the pages to click through to get to the dealing page.

Try this link and scroll down to Online Buy & sell shares - you will need to log in or register with Santander share view. It was quite straight forward £15 to sell, although when I completed our bank details for a BACS payment it would not verify the account and a cheque gets sent out instead.
