A big THANKS to JO at Anglesey watches .. Put my Tag Carrera in for repair at local watch repairer in Hamilton (Central Scotland ) for broken winder on watch .. got estimate New crown required and full service total £560 !!! Decided to decline repairs .. Called Jo and asked approx. what he would charge for same work .... gave me a price of £140- £170 .. but would need to see watch to inspect .. got call after few days that all it required was a new stem !!!! and didn't require a full service or crown as stem was only required .. all else was ok he kept watch for few days to make sure it was running perfect TOTAL COST incl returning watch £40..what a result cant say enough about his service and fast repair .. top class guy

He’s got my lowly watch right now

Genuine and honest.

All day long him, not Brietling
My watch is with him too, and I would echo the comments made about him and his quality of service and care being genuine, honest and Incredibly good.

He's currently got my watch too.
Looks like no one on PH has the ability to tell the time at the moment!!

Another +1.

He seemed embarassed about charging me so much for something so minor. The same minor thing that several others had wanted to charge 5X as much for...

Yep - echo the compliments. He made a new pin for my wife’s Cartier watch strap and charged very little. Too job and great comms.

I have sent him by Breitling Navitimer A13022 to see if he can get it working again. Had a good chat with him on the phone and I would rather send it to him as you can communicate direct rather than through a customer care advisor!.

Is it best to phone him I’ve sent him an email about a service and battery change but no reply?

Another thumbup for him.

One of the watches I sent him wasn't worth the proper repair cost
but he tried something that might make it work - without charging me.

He said that if it keeps going, I should send something to the charity he nominated.

Bloody watch is still going a long time after, but I needed an excuse to buy a new watch to replace it biggrin.

I don't have a dog in this fight, but I have to say I'd find the ghosting and going MIA frustrating as a customer.

Clearly he's good at what he does from the feedback on here, but employing someone part time to man the phones, social media, email, SMS etc. would allow him to concentrate on what he does best, increase throughput and ultimately improve service to the customer.

I'm not certain, I may be confusing him with someone else - but I don't think he's been well.
