Can i find out why guy im taking to court avoids going?

Piece of st im taking to court for harassment of myself, and my misses herself on 4 seperate occasions has missed turning up for court now on 2 occasions.
On the night he was arrested outside my home the next day he feigned illness, first court day appearance he feigned illness, now today, apart from the fact i saw him mincing by my house at 8am in a suit and tie, he never turned up again? I was was sure he was dressed for court but no, can i find out why he didn't go as i'd love to know!
This is causing my partner a lot of stress as she hadn't been to a court before, this is really pissing me off now and i'm feeling like doing what i should have done in the first place, kick his arse!
Unfortunately, my job involved a thorough police background check before i got it so i'm sort of stuck!
He's been in the court system a lot and obviously knows how it works, he's been charged for making dirty phone calls, stalking women, and general story telling trying to get you into bother, so he's obviously avoiding it as he knows he's a tit and the court will know so from previous, anyone any advice? Regarding why he didn't turn up, avoiding stress for my misses, etc... :-) Any advice appreciated! Ta!

Did you call 999 when he was mincing by your house at 8am, have the police told him to stay away.

Hes a scum bag - thus avoiding court. Also it could be part of his harassment campaign to drag it out as long as possible. Also use the illness thing in sentence mitigation.

If he is unwell I would expect to see a medical report before the court upon which you can comment.

He minced by my house (he stays three doors away incidentally, so not a deliberate mince by my way) and had me thinking he was on the way to the court, which was yesterday,but he didn't show.
Its the fact he is only ill on 'convenient' days. As a witness im the one under threat of fines/imprisonment if i don't show, yet this pillock just makes up excuses.

You should be being kept updated by the witness service in your area and you should've been provided with the number to contact them. You should also be pestering the OIC in your case to find out what is going on.

On Corrie just now(Obviously the source for Police procedure(& in my defence I was browsing PH while OH has it on ) cops arrest David for not showing at the magistrates, so why cant they do this
